The Cypriot artist studied social and political science in Berlin (1965-1970), taking free classes in painting. Her compositions, mainly featuring interior spaces, are characterized for their lyrical use of colour and poetic ambience. Maraνγou has presented her works in individual shows (‘Screw’, Nicosia 1982 etc) and group exhibitions. Her artistic practice includes producing ceramics and working in scenography.
