Drawing On Location

A two-month short course for adults on how to draw on location led by the artists Anna Kakkouli begins at the Zampelas Art Museum from 10 October to 12 December.

With the choice of a morning or night session, participants will be able to familiarize themselves with landscape painting under the guidance of the teaching artist. Based on the area of Kaimakli, which surrounds the museum and the landscape depictions in the permanent collection of the Museum, participants will have the choice of using pencil, oil and/or acrylic.

Sculpture made with recycled materials

Inspired by the abstract and at the same time zoomorphic sculpture made out of recycled materials, by Stass Paraskos, which is on display as part of the permanent collection of the Museum, the children will be encouraged to create their own imaginative animal-like sculpture, also with recycled and a range of other art materials. Each child will have the chance to make more than one zoomorphic sculpture.

Participation fee: € 10

[All materials are included in the price]
