A writing for children short course for adults
A five-week short course, meeting for an hour and a half every Wednesday, will take you through the basic steps towards writing a story. Both in theory and in practice, the workshop aims to introduce you to the art of writing for children.
Every week, different aspects and exercises will cover topics such as the main characteristics of children's literature, how to create a successful plot for young readers, creating characters and backdrop settings, and also finding and developing the story you want to tell.
On the fifth and last meeting of the workshop, participants will be able to get hands on feedback on the story they have begun to write and encouraged to follow their steps.
The workshop will be carried out in English but written works can be done in Greek.
The workshop days will be as follows:
1, 8, 15, 22 November and the fifth and final meeting on 13 December 2017.
Paticipation fee: €100
